Why Chicago needs this

Three things Chicago water carries that you should know about.

Lake Michigan is a clean source. But between the treatment plant and your tap, three problems show up in Chicago homes -- and all three are solvable.

Lead from aging service lines

Chicago installed lead water service lines well into the 1980s -- more than any other city in the U.S. Even when the plant water tests clean, it picks up lead between the main and your tap. A whole-home system or under-sink RO removes it at the point you use it.

Chloramine taste and odor

Chicago treats with chloramines instead of plain chlorine -- it keeps the water safe but leaves a distinct chemical taste and smell that plain carbon filters can't fully remove. Catalytic carbon, either whole-home or at the tap, eliminates it.

Hard water scale on fixtures

Lake Michigan water runs moderately hard. It won't shock a water test, but over time it leaves scale on fixtures, clouds glassware, and shortens water heater and appliance life. A softener stops the buildup and makes the difference you feel in the shower.

Honest pricing, side by side

Same outcome. A fraction of the price.

The brand-name guys aren't selling better water. They're selling a big ad budget and a salesman in your living room for three hours. We cut the theater and pass on the savings.

Blue Line Water Filtration whole-home water filtration system

Your complete bundle

Whole-home softening & filtration tank, brine tank, and under-sink reverse osmosis with a dedicated faucet.

01

Jacobi coconut-shell carbon

The most expensive carbon on the market, grown in arsenic-free soil and NSF certified. Removes chlorine and chemicals before they reach the resin.

02

ResinTech CG10 resin

The only USA-made resin in the country, 10% cross-link so chlorine doesn't eat it in a year. Carries the WQA Gold Seal.

03

Ceramic disc valve

Everyone else uses plastic that wears out in a few years. Ceramic is harder than the minerals in your water, tested to a simulated 400-year life.

04

EnPress fiberglass tank

The most premium tank in the industry, even on the part you never see. We don't cut corners anywhere in the build.

Common questions

Straight answers, no sales runaround.

How much does a whole-home system cost?

Our flagship bundle, whole-home softening and carbon filtration plus under-sink reverse osmosis, is about $2,999 installed, taxes included, for a standard city-water home. Financing runs financing ~$265/mo. A comparable system from the brand-name guys runs $5,000 to $12,000.

Why are you so much cheaper than the big brands?

Not because of cheaper equipment, we use the same NSF-certified, name-brand components. We're cheaper because we cut the expensive part: the salesman in your kitchen for three hours and the bloated ad budget. Same system, none of the theater.

Do I have to do an in-home sales appointment?

No. That's the whole point. We pull the public data on your water, review it with you on one phone call, and give you an honest price. No one comes to pitch you in your living room.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Chicago and the surrounding metro, including all Chicago communities. If you're nearby and don't see your city, call us, we likely still cover you.

When do I pay?

Not until the job is done and you're happy. No deposit to get started.
